    The guidelines suggest getting 300 minutes or more of moderate aerobic activity each week for even more significant health benefits. Getting this exercise can help you lose or maintain weight. But even small quantities of physical activity can be helpful. Being active for shortages throughout the day can add to health benefits.

    • Strength training: Perform strength exercises for all major muscle groups at least twice weekly. One set of each exercise is enough to reap health and fitness benefits. Use a heavy weight or resistance level to fatigue your strengths after 12 to 15 repetitions.

    Regular exercise can help you switch your weight, decrease your risk of heart illness and some types of cancer, and strengthen your bones and muscles.

    If you haven’t exercised in a while and have health concerns, you may poverty to talk to your doctor before a new exercise.

    When creating your exercise program, keep your fitness goals in mind. Think about what you like and don’t like. Think about what keeps you from exercising. Then, look for ways to keep your exercise program on track.

    Starting an exercise program doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Start slowly and gradually increase over time. Planning and pacing yourself can make exercise a healthy habit that will last a lifetime.
